What's On
St. Patricks Day
Join us Saturday 16 March 2024
Every year, around the 17th of March, Joe’s Beerhouse hosts the most legendary St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Namibia.
With live music, cold (green) beer and outfits (that make you wonder whether we might have a few local leprechauns), everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
As a bonus, stand a chance to win awesome prizes
This year enjoy live music by the Ells from 12h00 – 16h00.
“Here’s to a long life and a merry one. A quick death and an easy one. A pretty girl and an honest one. A cold beer and another one!”
Drumming Circle
Ongoma / Drum Café Namibia hosts a weekly drumming circle at Joe’s Beerhouse.
Wednesdays between 6 PM and 7 PM
With the west African Djembe, known for its powerful dynamics in expression, they take you on a rhythmic journey. There’s literally a drum for everyone—young, old, local, tourist, doesn’t matter who you are, you can join in the fun as one of the team’s facilitators leads the circle. You don’t need any experience or even rhythm—no one’s judging, everyone is simply having fun.Entry is free of charge, but donations to Drum Café Namibia is always welcome.
Car Boot Sale
The Car Boot Sale hosted in Joe’s Beerhouse parking lot has become an institution. It is like a flea market with the difference that items are literally sold out of a car’s boot. Joe’s Beerhouse provides the platform for the community to generate income by selling unused items and for others to purchase goods and antiques at bargain prices.
The event is held monthly on a Saturday morning from 8AM to 11AM, with every second month exclusively focusing on clothing and the alternate month no clothing.
Coffee and rolls are also available, so bring your family and make someone else’s trash your next treasure.
Parties interested in becoming a vendor can register by sending an email to admin@joesbeerhouse.com.
